Education, Training, and Courses

 

In 1968, I attended a Leadership Course at Western Washington State College in Bellingham, WA.

In 1969, I graduated from Clover Park High School in Tacoma, WA with a scholarship.

In 1969-70 I attended Northrop University as an aerospace engineering student.

In 1970, I was in Basic Training at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas.  I graduated 1st in my class and won the American Spirit Honor Medal for top Airman Basic.

In 1970-71, I was in aircraft maintenance school at Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls, TX and graduated 1st in my class.

1971, I took correspondence courses from the University of Wisconsin.

In 1972, I took hydraulics, engine and aircraft mainframe courses at Beale AFB, Yuba City, CA.

In 1973, I took Cleveland Institute of Electronics (CEI) electronics courses by correspondence.

In 1975-76, I was a student at Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, NC.  I was Student Government Association SGA) President and editor of the school newspaper.

In 1976-77, I was a student at Mitchell College in Statesville, NC, graduating with an Associate of Science in Physics

In 1977-79, I was a student at Lenoir Rhyne University, graduating with a Bachelor Science in Physics.

In 1979, I attended Officer Training School at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, graduating as a 2nd Lieutenant.

In 1979-81, I attended the Air Force Institute of Technology, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

In 1981-82, I took  correspondence courses for Squadron Officer School.
